I made it!!

Hola! Mbaeichapa! Hello!
I am excited to tell all of you that I have arrived here in Paraguay!
Since Paraguay is in the Southern Hemisphere, its seasons are opposite than those of the United States. So while it is winter there, it is summer here and it is HOT!
I don´t have a lot of time to update right now, but I hope to tell you more next week!
Ciau!!

  1. Hola Lizzie! K-3 students at Cove Creek are happy you made it safely to Paraguay. We have been talking about culture and we made a list of questions to ask you about Paraguay's culture.

    1. What kinds of foods do you enjoy there?
    2. Is there clean water?
    3. What kind of house do you live in?
    4. What is your family in Paraguay like?

We look forward to hearing all about your life in Paraguay and we're excited to learn about different people and places!

  2. Hola Cove Creek! So happy to hear from you!!
I´m planning on making posts regarding these specific topics, but I´m going to respond to your questions now and then will give you more information later!

    1. We eat lots of meat! Beef, steak, chicken, fish, pork, etc. We eat these meats with rice, pasta, bread, and soup. There is lots of delicious fresh fruit! Sometimes I eat helado for dessert!
    2. Most of the houses that we live in now have running water and the water is pretty clean. It has different chemicals and bacteria in it than the water in the US so it has upset my stomach a little bit. I´m not sure how it will be when I get to my site though!
    3. I´m going to show you a video of my house very soon!
    4. In the video, you will meet my family!

    Thanks for your questions!
